Roger Federer - Great Tennis Player

Roger Federer won 1000th match in ATP career. He won the finals of Brisbane International on 11 Jan 2015.

Two players earlier to him have that distinction. Jimmy Connors (1,253) and Ivan Lendl (1,071) had achieved that distinction.

Federer won 17 Grand Slam titles, 83 ATP titles and stayed for 302 weeks as World No.1 so far in his career. He is 33 now.

Miss Universe 2014

Miss Universe 2014, (63rd Miss Universe pageant) will  be held on January 25, 2015 at the FIU Arena at Florida International University in Doral, Miami, Florida, USA. 88 contestants from all over the world will compete for the crown. Gabriela Isler of Venezuela (Miss Universe 2013) will crown her successor at end of the event.

The winner of the pageant will get to wear the new crown made by Diamonds International Corporation, a Czech based jeweller, the newest official jewelry maker of Miss Universe.

Gabriela Isler from Venezuela was crowned as Miss Universe 2013 at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia. Patricia Yurena Rodriguez from Spain finished as the first runner-up.
Constanza Baez from Ecuador was the second runner up.

Gabriela Isler, who stands 1.81 m (5 ft 11 1⁄2 in), entered the competition as Miss Guarico and participated in the country's national beauty pageant Miss Venezuela 2012, held on August 30, 2012 in Caracas. She became the ninth Miss Venezuela winner from Guarico, gaining the right to represent her country in Miss Universe 2013.
